Spectrum of White is a dynamic installation combining crowd participation and polarizing film. It explores how individual actions in our interconnected era converge into a collective consciousness, creating a visible, evolving state on a physical medium. The work focuses on the "visible" and "invisible" layers of light, using polarizing film as a unique medium. While this material may appear transparent or white, it translates an invisible light spectrum into vibrant, visible colors, much like a natural rainbow.
The installation features an intuitive participation mechanism, inviting each viewer to physically intervene and leave their mark. This accumulated participation, through the collage and stacking of the material, gradually transforms the originally "white" polarized field into a multi-colored "rainbow." The artwork thus becomes an ever-changing mirror, reflecting the vitality of collective creation.
